On March 12th the V&A Victoria and Albert Museum will unveil the first UK solo exhibition celebrating the life and work of  Artist and fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, one of the world’s most influential and enigmatic fashion designers. The installation-based retrospective is taking place thirty years after his Paris debut. The solo exhibition will feature over eighty garments spanning Yamamoto’s career. Yamamoto’s design principles and esthetic have culminated through out the fashion industry.
With the launch of Yamamoto’s retrospective at the Victoria and Albert Musuem in London Yohji Yamamoto has design a fabric Furoshiki Bag utilizing fabric from his spring summer 2011 collection. The bags will retail for eighty five British Sterling pounds or one hundred and thirty five US dollars
