Tom Ford A/W 2011/12 ( styling )

Tom Ford's modus operandi with his vaunted womenswear line is exclusivity: his shows are open only to select editors, who then put palm to bible to keep schtum about the clothes
As for pictures, forget it: the designer adopts a drip-drip approach, revealing his stuff to the masses only when he sees fit. Four months after he revealed his autumn/winter 2011 collection at a secret presentation in London , the cloak and daggers have finally been lifted; Ford has released a video of still shots from his lookbook.
Watch the Tom Ford spring/summer 2011 catwalk show
A lipsticked-up Abbey Lee Kershaw in an opulent shaggy fur jacket sets the tone. Long-sleeved lace-bodied dresses, snakeskin coats, satin jackets, chiffon devoré dresses and feathered clutches spotlighted texture, also the focus of myriad winter collections such as Prada and Gucci.
The collection builds solidly on the glamorous blueprint laid out in his comeback womenswear show in New York last winter, which saw his pals Beyoncé and Julianne Moore take to the catwalk.
