David Andersen Denmark SS11 is created with the inspiration from architecture and with the idea of bringing together opposites like, light and heavy, delicate and rough.
The collection is built up around light, transparent jersey fabrics, thin and delicate glove skin, light cotton combined with merino wool knits and accessories made from Persian fur in collaboration with Kopenhagen Fur. The colour scale moves from caviar black to porcelain white with singular grey details, which empowers the collection to give it depth and a playful look. David Andersen has with his SS11 collection, continued to show his unique, androgynous and style conscious impediment, where his eponymous sense for detail shines through. A collection where materials and design are being well experimented with and where a strong and sculptural expression is created.
